About Me

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Nicholas Nagrani, at a very young age became interested in the world of music. With the drums being his primary instrument, he began to play in bands with high school friends. During the ride of "Sudden Depth" he and his bandmates played various local venues and managed to be awarded by the J.C.D.C. festival (an annual arts and music competition held in Jamaica). Sudden Depth, with the help of their supportive high school landed a gig at an annual Christmas fundraiser in which they played just before recording artiste Tami Chynn. Members of Sudden Depth continue to play music together. After graduating from High School, Nick decided to create a new musical project. This project is known as "His Lament", an artiste that combines blazing metal riffs, friendly melodies and inspirational lyrics. As the songwriter, vocalist, lead/rhythm guitarist and drummer of His Lament, Nick is very involved in studio sessions, ensuring that the outcome captures everything he wants to express. Nick hopes to achieve his dream of becoming a professional and well-known musician by gaining as many listeners as possible. His Lament's debut E.P. "The Dark Of Summer" is currently in its final stages and has a very diverse compilation of material ranging from Hardcore to Pop and from Electronic to Reggae.
