About Me

Hey guys! Right now I'm living in Japan, going into my third year starting this August. I'm teaching English on the JET Program. I'm living my dream and now that I'm here, I'm going to use it as a portal to help with my career.
I have a plan for my career once I return to the US in the Summer/Fall of 2009, but I won't bore you with the details. The type of fashion I'm interested in are inspired by Japanese pop culture such as fashion, anime, manga, and J-music (of all genre, whatever sounds good sounds good!), and computer/video games.
However, those are not my limits. Basically, I want to do costum wear, which umbrellas over cosplay, wearable art, one-of-a-kind, unique, and specialty (bands, events, etc) wear. Pretty much anything but mass produced clothes.
Currently, because I'm in Japan and can't devote all my time to my fashion, I make casual corsets whenever I can and once in a while take up a commission.
Anything else? Please feel free to ask. Oh, and I'm in the process of revamping my page. I'll eventually have some stuff of my designs up. The newer stuff is going to be shown with my website - with better pictures.

Professionally, people who are goal oriented, open-minded, easy going, and flexible. I like to network/make friends from different backgrounds and interests. You never know who you're gonna need help from...

Socially, just about anyone so long as you're not a dick about it.

And Vincent Valentine. Although I am glad he's not real. If he was, I don't think I can live without having him for myself.
