Chiaro Scuro formed one summer evening in 2007, from a mixture of local midlands bands The Riot Season, Destiny Awaits, Special Guests and Perdu. We were all looking for a different musical outlet, having come from various musical backgrounds, and decided it was time for a change. The first practice was highly inspirational and we all had the capabilities of making this 5 piece work. Over the next few weeks we spliced together a set with our own sweat, blood and tears, and everything started to come together. At the end of the summer the commitment to band was stretched, With Josh and Junior moving away to Univeristy, but we knew Chiaro Scuro couldn’t be just another band.
We have finally completed the recording of our EP!
It’s titled:"The Chaos On The Ground Versus The Ambience In The Air", and we’re really fucking proud of it. Better still, we don’t think we’re even going to ask any money from you for it, just get down to one of our shows, and we’ll probably throw one your way.
On that note, 2008 has started better than ever, with gigs being booked left, right and center. We’re floating around the country to different towns and cities and, by the looks of it, playing with some pretty fucking amazing bands: WE ARE THE OCEAN, ELLA, AND BURY TOMORROW, to name a few, if we get round to your area, why not come along?
