About Me

Member of the electro-industrial band with IDM, darkwave, and psychedelic influences (perhaps even aggrotech if that ever becomes a more widely recognized sub-genre) called "The Us Electric" and love every second of it. It is my greatest passion, one that will drive, motivate and sustain me for the rest of my life. Don't sleep much, work quite a lot, but play even harder. I spend way too much time with my computers and other electronic gadgets, but it is time well spent. Fancy a great bottle of wine and good company and intelligent conversation. Member of the Anti-Vivisection Society and am an advocate for human rights, conservation of our environment (both in virtual and real worlds) and the promotion of social awareness and critical thinking. Finished my PhD in German Studies at the University of California at Irvine. I am now a full-time lecturer and instructor of German, English as a Second Language and Humanities Core at UC Irvine. I embrace the Goth culture and am at ease with those who are practicing Wiccans or Pagans, but rest most comfortably in the cyberworld.
I am vehemently opposed to people who spend thousands of dollars on a hand bag rather than endeavoring to create something new, to express themselves in an artistic way or work to make the world a better place. My goal for the world is that tolerance, acceptance of individual preferences and peace would reign supreme over the hatred, prejudice, and hypercrytical nature of people that often seems more prevalent.
That's all for now... Peace- Axiablue

The Danger of Rhetoric in a Disastrous Marketing Campaign

Radiohead

A Gothic Fairytale

This short film is a "Gothic Fairytale." I don't know why I like it so much.  Maybe because the main character's look (long and sleek) reminds me of Colby.
