I am having a girl!!!!

About Me

I got married to the most awesome person, Kurt, on September 15, 2001.
I grew up in Encinitas, California. I love southern California especially San Diego and Redondo Beach. We are hoping to move back to CA or Oregon in the near future. What's there not to love! Beach, Hiking, Mountains, Snow!
I am honest, a good listener, and sometimes put on a shy exterior but once I get to know you....you're in for a big surprise!!! I am spunky, sassy, sarcastic, open-minded, loyal, dedicated, strong, caring and love hanging out with my friends. I would rather have strong friendships with a smaller group then hundreds of acquaintances. But I always enjoy meeting new people. I'm always up for something new and exciting to do. Listening to live bands play, being out in the elements while stargazing, walking my dog Handsome, hiking...then it starts pouring rain...these are all things I cherish. Taking chances even if you end up not succeeding. There is something extraordinarily sexy about listening to music and I mean really taking the time to listen to every component not just the melody or vocals. This is what I love.

My Interests

I love hanging with my husband Kurt, vegetarianism, '68 SS Camaro's, nutrition, learning about myself, being positive, hiking, biking, shelties, art, geocaching, walking on the beach, frisbee golf, science, reading, stargazing, cooking, tattoo's (getting my first one real soon), anything to do with plants and animals, and playing poker. Basically anything to do with the outdoors and having fun. I'm really into music and enjoy going to shows/and or concerts. I enjoy watching my husband play guitar, drums, sing and piano...especially when he plays for me.

Books:

I love to read about everything. I find it helps wind me down from a hard days work. I am currently reading A Walk in the Woods (great book by the way) and Sideways (great book as well but very different from the movie as one would suspect). To name off a few good books I've read are, All Creatures Great and Small, The Truth About Dogs, The Forest People, The Mountain People, Frederick Douglass, women studies books, plant, science, nature and anthropology books.
