CROSSOVER - Biography

GODLESS SYMPTOMS (G.SS) was established in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia on September 2003, they are Baruz-voc, Tommy-guitar, Wanda-bass dan Goestie-drum. G.SS started when Baruz from BALCONY signed out and starting over a new band with his own younger brother Tommy. From then the both of them asked wanda who is also related to their family. G.SS have been reformation with three different drummer (Koca, Papay “Cabe Rawit”, Dadang “Faceless”), until we found Goestie from OMMERTA to fill in the drummer position until now. At first, the aim of this band was to make a straight band which combaining many of music elements. Starting from Rock, Metal, Punk, Hardcore, Death Metal, Reggae, those were all the combination which have influenced our music. Bands like Pantera, Anthrax, Bad Religion, Radiohead, Napalm Death, and also Bob Marley are many of the influnces in this band. With DIY concept G.SS have been worked and also managed the band until they participated with Good Call (Miller Beer) Compilation, Mempetisi Langit, Beyond Good, Evil and Us Compilation and also Million Sounds Compilation. In July 2007, G.SS finally released the first album called CROSSOVER with our own budget under our own record label DIE TRYING RECORDS, name of records that we think suitable to be given for our struggle that we have done in this band. We don’t want to stuck with just one genre only, but we like to explore our music into whatever we want to, so that we gave our album title CROSSOVER. With 10 songs in this album we have scream about honesty from what we’ve been through so far, even with our highest imagination we talked about friendship, betrayal, love, life, and death. We hope our honesty can be contribute new inspiration and fresh atmosphere for all extreme music lover everywhere.

Now Godless Symptoms are ready to release the 2nd album soon. With adding the new guitar player named Dicky. Now Godless Symptoms has found their new sound to filled with brand new riffs that will blow your ears.

Band yang terbentuk pada September 2003 ini, dipawangi oleh Baruz-voc, Tommy-guitar, Wanda-bass dan Goestie-drum. Pada awalnya band ini bertujuan untuk menjadi sebuah band straight yang banyak menggabungkan banyak unsur musik. Mulai dari musik rock, metal, punk, hardcore, death metal, reggae merupakan kombinasi musik yang mempengaruhi dalam menciptakan karya-karya kami. Band-band established seperti Pantera, Anthrax, Bad Religion, Radiohead, Napalm Death sampai Bob Marley adalah diantara sekian banyak influence yang mengusung arah musik band ini pada awalnya

Setelah cukup lama kami tampil di berbagai event musik besar maupun kecil, atau sekedar untuk bersenang-senang mengekspresikan karya dalam musik kami di pentas, akhirnya Juli 2007 kami merilis debut album pertama dengan biaya sendiri di bawah bendera DIE TRYING RECORDS, nama records label yang paling pantas diberikan atas semua perjuangan yang telah kami lakukan demi band ini. Crossover menjadi title untuk album pertama. Kami tidak ingin terpatok pada satu genre saja, kami terus mengeksplorasi apa yang kami suka, kami cinta dalam menciptakan karya-karya kami. 10 buah lagu di debut album ini kami rilis untuk meneriakkan kejujuran dari apa yang telah kami jalani sejauh ini, walaupun dengan imajinasi tertinggi sekalipun tentang persahabatan, pengkhianatan, cinta, kehidupan dan kematian. Semoga dari kejujuran yang kami teriakkan, kami rasakan, dan kami jalani dapat memberikan angin baru dan nafas segar bagi para penikmat musik dimana pun.

Sekarang Godless Symptoms siap untuk menggarap album kedua. Dengan masuknya Gitaris tambahan yang bernama Dicky, kini Godless Symptoms telah lengkap dan lebih ekploratif dalam memasukkan riff-riff baru yang akan menghentak telinga pencinta Metal.
