[RIP] Timothy Jon Lamb

About Me

"Tim is not only a great soloist, but a really good singer. Most importantly, he is an astute listener, and he always puts the music first, ahead of ego gratification or showing off. I really can't say enough good things about Tim's musicianship and legit blues chops and feeling".Alan Paul Senior Editor Guitar World

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: www.myspace.com/timothyjonlamb
Influences: Jimi Hendrix Rory Gallagher Roy Buchanan Danny Gatton Jim Campilongo Muddy Waters Howlin' Wolf Sonny Boy Williamson Buck Owens Don Rich Blind Lemon Jefferson Lightnin' Hopkins Charlie Patton Son House Bob Wills Curly Fox Texas Ruby Owens
Sounds Like: The high energy Blues of Johnny Winter, and Buddy Guy, with a dash of the wacky side of Danny Gatton. My acoustic shows are reminiscent John Hammond, or the acoustic guitar playing of Johnny Winter, or Rory Gallagher. When working with harmonicist, Dover Cooper, we're often compared to Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee.
