About Me

About Me

I was born in Hickman Co. Kentucky. Carla, my wife of 30 years, and I have 3 wonderful daughters, Amy, Ashley, and Amanda, as well as 5 beautiful granddaughters, Alexia, Olivia, Carleigh, Emery and Reagan and 1 handsome grandson, Conner.

After spending my early years in west Tennessee and west Kentucky we moved to Nacogdoches, Texas for a few years then in the mid 80's moved back to Tennessee to Centerville (Home of Minnie Pearl), 50 miles west of Nashville.

Having grown up in the 50's and 60's during the era of the western, along with owning horses for year and spending nearly 12 years as manager of Country Gold Farms a small Quarter horse operation just outside Nashville, I have a strong love for the west.

Although I had written for years it wasn't until the late 90's that I dedicated my writings to the west and the cowboy way of life.
