About Me

The Swedish singer and songwriter Benny Söderberg wanted to do an album filled with strong melodies, tasteful arrangements, good musician ship and great sound. And together with his record company at that time, Empire Records they started to set plans for this project. Bass player John Levén and drummer Ian Haugland from the band Europe and guitar player Jan Granwick (Glory) was asked to participate on the recordings. The great engineer Ronny Lahti was hired to make the recordings and the final mix.The album “Nostalgia” was released in 1996 and received raving reviews all over the world. And a second album was planned. The same musicians were asked to participate again but contractual reason made it impossible for guitar player Jan Granwick to participate on the second record. The former guitar axe man of Talisman and recently in Arch Enemy, Fredrik Åkesson (now with Opeth) was asked and did the entire guitar work on the second album, called “Naïve” that hit the streets 1998.Today two albums have been recorded but demos for a possible third album, probably to be named " nothing is the greatest thing " have been recorded. The songs featured on this demo are " Our Roads Never Cross ", " If You Change Your Mind " and " Demon in the Dim ". You can also expect the ending for the song (the trilogy) " the tales of King Solitude 3:3 " on the forth coming album.Clockwise also recorded the Journey track " Send Her My Love" for a Journey tribute album that never was released, a lot of other bands too recorded tracks that never saw the light of day, unfortunately. Above you find a sample for the song. So if you all out there want to here more from this project, post a comment, and let us know.To be continued.…
