BIOGRAFIA-BIOGRAFY Marco Sollazzo,bassista, Nato a Napoli nell'1982,inizia a suonare il basso all'età di 15 anni.Ben presto inizia ad esibirsi in piazze e locali tra Napoli e Roma.Partecipa a seminari e sopratutto,impara dai musicisti piu espertiA 22 anni in cerca di stimoli,si trasferisce in UK. Studia a Edinburgh con il musicista brasiliano Mario Caribe. Partecipa alla realizzazione di musical a glasgow.Suona in svariati contesti(dal trio alla Big Band),facendo esperienza in diversi campi musicali.Dal Jazz,la musica latina,il funky,rock etc.Varie collaborazioni durante il festival internazionale di Edinburgh.Suona nei migliori venues e town hall con la rock band"the surrogate"di glagow. Insegna privatamente e in associazioni musicali. Tornato in Italia segue le lezioni del maestro Maurizio Pocci.Partecipa a seminari con Alain Caron,Ben Monder,Tony Moreno etc etc. Suona in giro per tutta l'Italia,prendendo parte a molti progetti musicali. Studia contrabbasso al corso di Jazz del Conservatorio A.Boito di Parma con i maestri Roberto Bonati e Alberto Tacchini. -------------------------------------------------ENGLISH Marco Sollazzo,bass player born in Neaples(Italy),1982 He started to play bass when he was 15 learning by the skilled musicians in his city.Soon after he became to gig around Rome and Neaples He took part in many festival and recording sessions. Then he moved to Britain to look for musical stimulations and opportunities. He studied with the brasilian bass player Mario Caribe. In Edinburgh he collaborated with many musicians at the international festivan in august. He played in some of the best venues around Scotland with the rock band the surrogate. He took part in lots of Jazz gigs around britain. When he came back to Italy,he also found a passion for the mediterranean sonority. He follolwed workshop and master class with Alain Caron,Ben Monder,Antony Moreno and many others. Now he lives in Parma(Italy)where is studing Jazz and Double Bass at the Conservatoire of Parm with Maestri Roberto Bonati and Alberto Tacchini
