Nate Castle And The Sliders

Nate Castle, formerly of PBM, is making new music and putting a twist on some of his past songs. The music is a mix of pop, rock, country, bluegrass, folk, swing and blues. After touring across the US and UK for over seven years, Nate is returning to his roots. Using talented local musicians, Nate performs a variety of styles and incorporates accoustic guitar, bass, harmonica, banjo, mandolin, congas, snare with brushes, maracas and more into his entertaining sets. Of course, Nate keeps his sense of humor, which is still cleverly crafted into his songs and stands out wonderfully at his live shows. The result is what the Metro Times once called "a fuzzy feel good collection of wonderment."
Nate's first solo EP, For Sale By Owner, is now available at all shows. It features six songs that beg to be listened to over several cups of coffee.
Nate has written and recorded 6 albums, his last one with his former band PBM (One Sip At A Time) was released nationwide.
With a desire to return to the grassroots scene and build a strong base of followers, Nate is taking his music all over the Metro-Detroit area, performing intimate, stripped down accoustic sets.
