I'll have more of a bio added shortly. In the meantime, suffice it to say...
I have always had a passion for techno/trance/electronica music. I believe it stems from me living for a number of years in Europe (where they make the best techno). While there, I engulfed myself in the style of music. There was always something about it that could evoke deep emotions, conjure lost memories, and save a forgotten soul. I always believed the best techno, electronica, trance, what have you, seldom is full of random "flashiness". What I mean is, the simpler it is, the sweeter it is, in most cases. I don't need thousands of drum beats, hundreds of clangs and whistles, endless reverbs, etc. to make me feel (which is the purpose of techno...to feel). All I need is something catchy, enjoyable, hypnotic...simple. So the majority of my music is just that...simple. Nothing super fancy. Just good listening. Something to make you feel. And obviously, if you've listened to any of the songs, you'll notice not all of them fit into the "trance/techno" genre. Some of it is "easy listening". Just FYI ;-)
Now, this may sound strange, but I would probably have to say my biggest influence is Sarah Brightman. If you don't know who that is, you probably have never heard real music. Google her. Now, for those of you who know who she is, you probably realize her music generally isn't techno, though at times it can border on the line. But the reason she's my influence and inspiration is she has the voice of an angel. She is the embodiment of music, in its purest form. I know I could never be anything close to her...for one thing, I can't sing ;-). But to hopefully one day be able to create electronically what she can do with her voice, that is my aspiration. It's probably impossible, but in her own words..."What you'll never know, unless you try."
