The Mighty Vibrations

About Me

The Mighty Vibrations are a song writing and production team, comprising of Jake Field and Duncan Thompson. Constantly working to create the classics of tomorrow, they met as teenagers in the North West, with an ear for the blues and have worked on many projects exploring the possibilities of music.Armed with a PC and a microphone, there break came producing Sandi Thom's number one album 'Smile it confuses people' which was the first step to bringing a fresh sound to the music world. Following this and taking nothing for granted, the team worked with Hummingbird producing an album of beautiful folk, that on its recent release has received much acclaim.Sandi Thom's second album is now also finished and finds the Mighty Vibrations stretching their legs with both material and sound. Due for release early 2008. Multi-instrumentalists, constantly pushing to create original sounds and further better their craft, the Mighty Vibrations hope to bring great music to the music lover for years to come.
