About Me

Married with two great Kids - Hannah and Jeremy. Jeremy's a guitarist and works at Damar, Inc. Hannah sings and is involved in community theatre.

I skipped my 20-year high school reunion (which was held practically in my back yard) to go see a friend's band play in Kentucky (the Tommy Womack Band). I guess that outside of my family and the theatre, my only real interest is music. I travel everywhere to see my favorite bands and musicians. The kids and I spend a lot of weekends in Nashville, Kentucky, Ohio, etc. with fellow music junkies.

I work for BMG Music Service (you know, 12 CDs for the price of one...) now also Columbia House (however many DVDs for the price of whatever) and also Doubleday Book club. I'm a Business Correspondence Analyst. A big name for the lady who's in charge of the letters. But, I can honestly tell people that I'm a writer and that I'm in the music business...

The only person that I'd go out of my way to try and meet is Kurt Vonnegut. I missed the boat...Oh, and I need to meet Vince Pawless to prove he actually exists.

Hannah and the cast of Sweet Charity performing Rhythm of Life in Footlite Musical's 2007 Young Artists production. The cast is made up of 13-18 year old kids from Indianapolis. Mine's the hippie in the bleached jeans, flowy green shirt and leather hat.

End of Big Spender

No singing this time, but a couple of fun dances!

Hannah did this - she was inspired in the middle of a show, turned to me and said, "I want to create a Todd Snider SIMS family when we get home." So that weekend, she spent hours creating her SIMS to look like the guys in the band, and then teaching them all to play guitar. It was pretty cool:
