Marco Rane:
He started in 1995 on 2 lowbuget turntables and some hardcore records. In 1998 he bought his first Technics to develope his style and skills. In that time all he was listening to was hiphop, drum ‘n bass and ambient to get inspiration and understanding for making his own music. Several years later Marco Rane noticed another kind of music, Techno. He get’s his inspiration from Dj/Producers such as Takaaki Itoh, Regis, Glenn Wilson and Christian Wünsch. In the year 2003 Marco Rane started with Julian Sync and Dj Ked a dj-team called ‘ Maju-Tech ‘. They had big success with their collab sessions on 4 decks.
Paul Boex:
Paul Boex also known as Paul Bax, was born in a small village called Sleeuwijk on the 22nd of March 1985. He got in touch with electronic music via his older friends at the time. In the early day his attraction went out to Hardcore, but on one day that changed…… On the age of 15 he got acquainted with the sound of techno. From that age he discovered a whole new evolution. About three years later he buys his own turntables and started playing techno.
His preferences goes out to the pure dynamic loop techno, mixed with dark industrial soundscapes blended with some Birmingham flavors sprinkled on top. In his sets he pushes himself to the edge of unexpected abilities. His sound is inspired by some of his favorite producers like Jeff Mills, James Ruskin, BMB, Exium and Oscar Mulero.
Now a days he is the resident dj of Technonk, next to that he is the initiator of one of the most pure techno events of Holland, Mental Evolution.
Marco Rane & Paul Boex:
So in 2006 Marco Rane meets Paul Boex and they started a project to emerge and combine their forces and skills to create a mixed up sound, with a lot of uplifting percussion, pounding basslines and deep synths… and Dynamo was born! They decided to perform live together as one dynamic source, the rest is history........
