R.I.P. Rick Wright, The Halfway Hippie

Oh no, I have "poliosis"!!!

About Me

UPDATE: I got a new job!!! Yay, go me. I am now working part-time for Colonie Business Machines doing PM work and computer repair work. My first "real job" I get paid holidays too. Oh yeah.
I am the Halfway Hippie . As you will learn from looking at my page,
music is my passion in life (sometimes more like an obsession, but hey, it happens). My favorite band of all time is Pink Floyd. However, I like all kinds of music (some people say this, but really don't mean it). I am selective when it comes to hip-hop and rap, but I do listen to it. My musical library contains over 15,000 files and includes the likes of 50-Cent, DMX, Eminem, Shania Twain, Gretchen Wilson, Garth Brooks, Blue October, ACDC, Black Sabbath, Godsmack, Metallica, Blue Oyster Cult, Primus, Prince, Pantera, Hell Yeah, Korn, Celtic Woman, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Doors, David Gilmour, Disturbed, Days of the New, ZZ-Top, and soooooooo many more.
The Halfway Hippie was a rewording of a nickname someone had given me a few years ago. I think it is more appropriate. It almost gives people a strong feel about who I am upon first thought. I am pacifistic (for the most part), non-materialistic. I am inspired by music and think that some music contains important, pertinent messages to the population and is a good, thought provoking, medium. I am always trying to learn more about current events by reading magazines rather than watching corporate regulated news broadcasts. Researching psychology and sociology in my leisure is a way for me to better understand both society, and myself. Astrology and other metaphysical studies are fun to learn about, and sometimes fascinating because of how accurate they can be.
To the surprise of many, I do not do drugs. I am so mellow that they don't even phase me. I like watching cool, " t r i p p y " stuff like oil wheels, light shows, and fire while completely sober. I can contemplate deep meanings of things most people don't even consider without the assistance of any recreational doping. I don't care if someone else does drugs , doesn't bother me at all (at least mild stuff, like pot, or shrooms). One of the other main differences between me and the fellow hippies around the world is that I am not promiscuous.
I am the one at parties sitting in a corner, fiddling with my guitar. Not because I am anti-social, but because I am quite shy at first. Music is the fastest way for me to warm up and open up, if someone else wants to start singing a song I happen to know, then that's cool.
Life is short. Live. Love. Be happy.

..t-->My score on../t--> The Sextrology Test :

Gemini Man
(...)

Heterosexual The Twin guy often can't help but seek the thrill that potential sexual triumph's provide. Flirting affords an escape valve, but only to a point. As such, many a Gemini will forgo channeling his obsession with immortality into procreation and instead attempt to remain forever young, playing the dating game until he seems, well, dated. When it comes to sex, Gemini consciously considers what it takes to be good in bed. The twin guy uses his head, and nobody is better with his hands, His oral skills extends to the bedroom as well. No guy can get a girl off quicker, so long as we're speaking strictly of clitorial stimulation as a vehicle to orgasm. He'll twiddle, squeeze, bite, pinch, lick, and blowwhile poking, providing a woman with the feel of a full body climax, no pale substitute, in the end, for a straight on plowing. In some cases he may seek to overcome a sense of sexual inferiority through dominant role play, a soupcon of which is all it takes to impart a major thrill to the Twins, whose trademark fantasy involves subjecting women to compromising, but rarely all out humiliating positions. Sex must always, first and foremost, be fun. Like a terrier, he'll root out every corner of a female's fantasy life, urging her to admit, and submit to, her kinkiest longings. He thrives on experimentation and detests routine. He has a weakness for high class hookers who don't mind going around looking like they've just stepped out of the pages of Penthouse. Moreover, he is specifically turned on by the idea of tag teaming a female with another fellow, just so long as he needen't play second banana. Puns aside, he'd like to be both director and feature actor.
Straight turn-ons:
Small women, home girls, red heads, hour glass figures, white panties, snake eyes, long legs, m-f-f threesomes, girl-on-girl porn, little boy role-play, high-class hookers, lite b+d, (active) oral, (active) humiliation, spanking, mind games, high heels, peep shows, striptease, g-strings, lingerie, manicured muffs, swinging, swapping, giving pearl necklaces, lipstick, nail polish, tag-teaming

..Music, that about sums it up. Hiking, watching movies, reading (when I am inspired to do so)

I'd like to meet:

Alan Alda....and a lot more people.

Music:

..Pink Floyd, classic rock, anything really. But Floyd is definitely my favorite band. Nine Inch Nails, Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Dylan, Metallica, Godsmack, Blue October, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, Korn...and many others

Tom Petty - Mystic Eyes

No Arms - Fast Footwork

LED ZEPPELIN - O2 Reunion Performance
Stairway to Heaven

Kashmir

Meatload - I Would Do Anything for Love

Dana Fusch - Helter Skelter

Country Joe McDonald - Fixin' To Die a Rag

Roger Waters - Vera & Bring the Boys Back Home

Type O Negative - Christian Woman

Thank You - Led Zeppelin

Dave Matthews Band - Crash Into Me

Movies:

..Capote was an amazing film, definitely proving how versatile an actor Philip Seymor Hoffman really is; showing both the cold hearted nature of Truman Capote and how affected he was by the bond created with the killer, Perry Smith.

Television:

..M*A*S*H is the best show ever, hands down. I like ER, Rocko's Modern Life, The Angry Beavers, and a few other shows, but M*A*S*H tops them all.

Books:

..In Cold Blood by Truman Capote was good, so was Alan Alda's autobiography, "Never Have Your Dog Stuffed". Anne Rice is definitely a talented author with her vampire chronicles.

Heroes:

..Both of my parents, my brother, and my grandfather and my grandmother (I know I am forgetting some people, but I just don't feel like giving an all-inclusive list)
