VEGA STEREO is a Moscow group born in 2001 on splinters of destructed to that time musical project Henobreakers.
The sceleto of the group are two musicians. One is a girl Nastya, a young artist and architector with good knowledge of programming of musical equipment. Thanks to her (she came to the project in 2003) VEGA STEREO has a new sound, left in the past experimentally-noisy sound and streaming more closely to original techno and ambient. The girl grew up in a soviet family of engineers. In her childhood she listened to the “right†music – world classics and jazz – using mother..s and father..s bobbin tape recorder. So her ears couldn..t listen for a long time extreme sound of dynamics that VEGA STEREO had in the beginning.
Another musician of the project is a man of middle age, having philological education and musical school for boys in the past. Alexei took part in many musical projects. Grown up on Detroit Techno and having memories of “acid rains and raves†of past century, Alexey traveling in the most four places of Russia seeking and gathering the old analogical keyboards from times of USSR. Thanks to it sound of group has an original, absolutely different analogical character.
