About Me

I enjoy doing many things: going out, staying home and doing something creative, seeing good live music, traveling, etc. IÂfm endlessly fascinated by thought-provoking topics: the sciences, the arts, traveling, culture, politics, history, and intelligent conversation with smart, interesting people. I was in line when the brains were passed out, and enjoy meeting those who were there, too. Yes, brains DO matter. Honesty and self-respect matters, too. I'm not perfect, but I've worked hard to overcome common emotional insecurities and hang-ups which a number of people seem to have, and am attracted to those who've done the same kind of work on their inner selves. I'm fun and flexible, yet picky about those I choose to spend quality time with.

I hope you're also selective about the people you choose to spend your time with, and interested in many things, and on a deeper level than most. I am attracted to self-secure people who can add positive energy to any situation. Having a natural open-minded curiosity about life is a must. Enthusiasm is infectious, and I'm attracted to people who have it. Being balanced is key to me--well traveled, yet still curious to see what the world is like--open-minded, yet confident in what you know--humble, but self assured (without being arrogant)--eclectic, but able to keep things simple too--these are all good balancing points. Does this describe you? PS. Playing a musical instrument (or a decent singing voice) is a huge plus.
