About Me

Rapping for BULLET started when he used to ditching junior high school to spend time practicing his skills and rhymes to his friends Eazy E and Bone Thugs cassette tapes.
A daytime hobby that started to take a turn towards a career. Raised in LOS ANGELES, California and influenced by his surroundings and life experiences BULLET'S documentation of the street life style by latinos in L.A. yet with a unique flow and style never really heard before from 'chicano rappers' quickly got him noticed and respected from both the latino and black communities. Through out his music you can hear elements of his early influences like Slick Rick, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Tupac Shakur & Eazy-E to name a few.
In mid 2002 BULLET joined Inglewood Chicano Rapper LIL' G and joined "Down for my shit records" However the projects fail to get off the ground and nothing was released the two parted ways but rejoined when LIL G introduced BULLET to Double 9 Records, a new Latino Rap label that was aiming to take it's artist to the mainstreams of Hip-Hop and get over the color barriers that exist in some corners of the rap game. For a long time it was rumored that Death Row Records owned Double 9. while both sides denied this, they agreed they were homies and wanted to work together.
Double 9 Records allowed BULLET to grow as an artist, He got to do sessions with Kurupt, Petey Pablo, Crooked I and Danny Boy. in 2005 He finished an album for the label titled 'SOUNDS OF THE BULLET' by this time Double 9 had generated a good buzz but the project was kept from hitting record stores due to distribution issues. in early 2006 Double 9 and BULLET parted ways.
Unsatisfied with previous efforts BULLET independently with no label assistance made some moves and got his most recent project completed. with production by him, Innovator League Music, Cali Untouchable DJ's STR8 FROM THA STREETS is a personification of his true roots and everyday life endeavors. He put this project together and shopped it for a deal. The music was heard by Thump Records executives who signed BULLET and offered to distribute the album via Universal Music Group.Bullet it's on his way to be recognized as a true Hip-Hop artist in the game. His lyrical style descrived by some as gangsta, but he manages to retain an original and unique flow not to be type casted with the rest of the latino rappers. The Hooddweller can deliver it in many ways. although he prefers to rap fast like his Bone Thugs influences he can be heard flowing smoothly on slow jams as well as battle raps and those G hits we all have come to expect from the west coast urban scene.
Bullet plans on working to developt his own style but yet remain strickly a Rap Artist, dubbed by many to be one of the first if not the first "Latino/Chicano" MC to 'rap on beat'
