Video games, friends, film, music, politics and billiards.
George Orwell, Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins and perhaps Quentin Tarantino (one of the greatest film makers of all time). As for non-famous people, anyone, and I really do mean anyone. I don't care what walk of life you come from, or what baggage you bring along, or what insights and abilities you possess, I'm always up for meeting people: all people.

The term "heroes" fails to define what I think this section is supposed to deal with. The ones that belong here are beyond description, in terms of what they mean to me and I'm sure many others. They are people that take it upon themselves to advance the quality of life of others, whether material or psychosocial. Personally I've had the privilege of coming into contact with a select few, but those I have met have forever changed my life. The people that truly qualify in this category need not be recognized by myself, because they know who they are.
