About Me

33 year old tattoo artist currently working at 1st amendment tattoo in Oklahoma City, OK (The 39th and penn location). Feel free to come by the shop and check out my work if you are interested.

My Interests

MUSIC (I was a night club and radio D.J. for about 15 years). I personally think that music is the most powerful form of art and creative expression. It has the power to make you feel energetic and full of life OR it can reach in and rip your heart out through your chest.

I'd like to meet:

Currently talking offers... HAHAHAHAI know this might seem picky, but here goes....Someone with VERY little drama! I know that we all have our own inherent drama... that is just human nature. What I am talking about is any of the following:"My baby daddy" drama (NOTE: I am not against kids, I have one myself)
overbearing mama drama
daddy's little girl drama (some is ok, being under lock down is not)
Ex-boyfriend/girlfriend drama.
Now on to the qualifier round.Personality: You MUST be smart AND have a sense of humor: Now then, I am not talking about the fact that we are going to sit around and discuss the shoestring theory of the universe, or sexual Darwinism in the Victorian age.... but I would LOVE to find someone that if we are having a conversation that strays into more of the "intellectual" variety, it will not be like discussing Niche with a dalmatian. Also, about the humor portion of the program... I hate people that talk life to seriously. You gotta be able to laugh at life, it is one of the few things that connects all of humanity.A job: I am not talking about a C.E.O. position (though not a disqualification). I am just talking about the fact that you support yourself. I make good money, but there is no way in hell that I am going to be paying some ones bills or rent. Sorry, this ain't that type of party.Passion: Have something that you are devoted to. There must be something that moves you... that fuels the fire and keeps you going. This can be art, music, poetry, drinking, basket weaving... WHATEVER. Just looking for someone that does not let life pass them by. (they have never ONCE built a statue to someone that was content with the status quo)Honesty: I am sick of lies and dishonesty. People that say one thing and mean another... people that feel like by telling a lie, they can save face or some ones feelings. I will let you in on something. THIS IS NOT TRUE!!! Honesty is the key to longevity. If you are interested on why this is... ask me and I will be more than happy to tell you.Attractive: I know this seems shallow... but let me explain. Personality, brains, occupation, honesty and even passion are a GREAT deal to do with who I am looking for. HOWEVER, I am an artist. I believe that the female form is one of the greatest thing ever put on the face of the earth. In all of the shades of skin and nationalities, there is an underlying and undeniable beauty. With this being said, I feel that if there is no physical attraction, at least on some level, then the soul will suffer. I find it hard to describe, but hopefully you can understand without finding me cold and callus. Also note that this is the last thing on the list, There is a reason for this. The reason is I value all of the other qualities more than this. I am not shallow, talk to me for about 5 min. and you will understand that.As I said in the beginning this might sound like I am picky, and I guess on some level I am. I just feel it is doing a great disservice to "settle". I have tried to live my life on very certain terms... one of them is never settle. If you begin to settle for things you don't want, then the big bad world creeps a little closer to taking you over.

Music:

Anything done well. I do not care if it is Jazz, Classic rock, New rock, Dance or whatever... just as long as it moves you in some way.

Movies:

My taste run the gambet, for example I think the last three movies I watched at home were Shawn of the dead, Cool hand Luke and The hunt for Red October.

Television:

Currently hooked on television series on DVD. Have watched seasons of West Wing, Dead Zone, The Shield, Deadwood, Dead Like Me, and I am sure there are others. I rarely watch T.V. (do not even have an antenna hooked up currently) Most of the stuff that is out now is total shit!!!! Allow me a few examples, EVERY SINGLE REALITY SHOW. (that should be enough examples for today)

Books:

Not what you would call a voracious reader, however the last few books I have read were 9 1/2 weeks, and tales from Margaritaville.

Heroes:

Hugh Heffner: Not for all the benefits, He was a man who was a failure at every business he ever tried, Now his pajamas hang in the Smithsonian!Billy Joel: Perhaps one of Americas most under-rated songwriters. He used to get his ass kicked on his way to piano classes, so he learned to box so that he could defend himself. Never forgot who he was and where he came from. Was the first American musician to play behind the iron curtain. AND he married Christy Brinkley!!!!Kenny Roberts: When most people grew up they had posters of baseball, baseball or football players on there wall. I had a poster of "King Kenny" on mine. No American had won a World GP motorcycle race until he went across the pond. Three BACK-TO-BACK World GP titles and two American Motorcycle Association Grand National Championships in the United States left the world to pick up it's collective jaw. (oh yea, one of those was after he broke his BACK and was told he would never walk again).

Good place to start... The book of my life.

For those of you that know me, you know that music is of great importance to me. That being said, I was listening to something today that hit very close to home and how I have been feeling as of late...
