I have been fascinated with the artform called "videogames" since... I was nine (1984).
However, I am different from most people who call themselves "videogamers", in that I decided to make this artform my career and life, and not just a pasttime activity. And I thank the higher powers for granting me the lifestyle I always wanted.
I realized at a very young age that the videogame subculture had a negative stigma associated with it; namely for being a nerd subculture. So, over the past (twenty) years I learned how to mask that, and most people never guess that I am a master geek in disguise until I tell them, at which point, I get that blank look.
