That saying, about how you always kill the thing you love, well, it works both ways.

About Me

"The ideals which have lighted my way, and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Kindness, Beauty, and Truth. The trite subjects of human efforts, possessions, outward success, luxury have always seemed to me contemptible." Albert Einstein"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away." -Henry David Thoreau...this sums up alot about me- anything else just ask .. bacardi52 @ aol.comI try to do like Bukowski says: "Play the [typer] Drunk Like a Percussion Instrument Until the Fingers Begin to Bleed a Bit"

My Interests

i like coffee and cigarettes (and the movie was OK too). i like to read, watch movies, i'm interested in philosophy, and more so in finding out the meaning in life. i think right now i'm trying to follow some sort of taoism, a go with the flow type attitude. but stupid people keep pissing me off, and i keep deviating from that. i think max fisher in RUSHMORE said it best when he was asked the "secret" and he siad "i think you just have to find something you love doing and do it the rest of your life. for me that's rushmore" so you can say i'm looking for my rushmore. that dare to be great situation, bit i'm couped up in a library for the most part studying. i don't know it's all a little much to think about now, so i'll have to get back to you...

Saint Exupery's 'The Little Prince' Quiz.
brought to you by Quizilla

I'd like to meet:

people with a magniloquent taste for literature. movie buffs who can tell me what to watch next, and girls with really round asses...."now you must cast aside your laziness", my master said, "for he who rests on down or under covers cannot come to fame; and he who spends his life without renown leaves such a vestige of himself on earth as smoke bequeths to air or foam to water. Therefore, get up; defeat your breathlessness with spirit that can win all battles if the body's heaviness does not deter it. A longer ladder still is to be climbed; it's not enough to have left them behind; if you have understood, now profit from it"
