In 2001 DANI get acquainted with Vesna Malinova one of the best macedonian songwriters (music & lyrics), and soon they realize that they are on the same path, and began, very easily, their first cooperation. At the same year, she won the award for the best interpretation at Skopje festival with the single “All dear people†(Site dragi lugje). Immediately after she appeared at the Makfest festival with the song “Look at me†(composed by Malinova).
The following three years, she has chosen to demure from the scene, convinced that it’s for the best of her son, in order to be his constant and complete support at his first years. But she kept the contacts with her friends from the world of music, especially with Malinova, who has never lost her faith that DANI will return to the scene and believed that she is a type of person that Macedonian musical scene is absolutely deprived from. In 2005, in this great team was involved Darko Tasev
(composer, guitar player and arranger) and DANI returned to the musical vaudeville with the song “I leave everything†(music&arr.-D.Tasev//lyrics-Malinova), witch she performed at the Makfest ’05.
Among the others, DANI continued with her life performances in couple of popular musical clubs in Skopje, and together with Malinova and Tasev, have started with the preparation for her debut album, which was a logical and concrete step in her career. The matureness of DANI as a singer, demanded to be shown thru one product, completely in trusted to her friends and collaborators, and in production of Davor Jordanovski
(Big Bang studio, Toronto, Canada). DANI’s authorial and production team thought that all beautiful sides of her character, talent and the personality should be hoist up on her debut album, with careful approach towards Macedonian market and pubic. Latter on, it showed up that together they managed to create a product, which in short time break thru the outskirts of Macedonia.
Right after the promotion of the album „For You to have me “, DANI gets in contact with Slovenian production house in regard of filming a new video for the first song from that album “Red Rainsâ€(Crveni dozzdovi)....
