Jean Smith plays lead abstract accent guitar -- the high picking. Duane Crone plays the melody rhythm guitar. These songs were recorded with one mic -- a Shure 58 -- onto a 1985 Fostex cassette recorder on New Year's Eve 2006.
Jean says, "We've got about 25 songs -- we started playing the early ones about 10 years ago and just kept adding to the list. When we get together we start at the beginning of the list, so the oldest songs get played more, because we don't usually make it through all 25 songs. It's Fiction is number one on the list. Call It Potential is about number seven. After the Interview is about a year old."
