I am Ric Korianski, a very hard working musician. I am a guitar player. I have been playing the guitar for 14 years and am still head over heals in love with the instrument. I have been performing live since age 13 and have been inspired to become a musician since birth. I have been in, and worked with, many different bands and groups. I have also worked on a variety of different productions furthering my education and experience in the entertainment business. RICSTAR is my solo project where I play/produce/record all the sounds and instruments myself. I believe beauty can be found in ALL styles of music so I try to incorporate many different styles in my own original compositions. So far FUNKY, JAZZY ROCK has been the best way to describe my own personal style. I have been working on the Ricstar project for over a year, and have accomplished much in this time. I have released an album called "LUMINOUS" which is an hour of sonic bliss incorporating many different styles of music. LUMINOUS has successfully sold here on the internet and in some local stores (contact me for your copy today here on Myspace or at [email protected]). Almost every track off of LUMINOUS has recieved air-play on many different radio stations, and has been commended on TV as well. After some EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL local concerts (including a SOLD OUT performance), RICSTAR is now ready to WOW people around New York (to start). I have an incredible NEW live show ready to explode onto the live music scene of New York with great music, great people, and great vibes. A RICSTAR concert is a 2+ hours multi-sensory experience which includes original electric and acoustic music, an INCREDIBLE LIGHT SHOW, special guest musicians, a cover song request lottery, and lots of improvisation and excitement.
