OnTV proposes a new, unique sound, incorporating flashes of British rock, mixed with the classic rock scene. 1st EP … Throughout 2007 the band recorded an EP, which consists of 6 original songs. The title of the EP is December 32nd, which stands for a made-up date in which people seem to decide their lives, just one more day people pray for so they can right the wrongs before commencing a new year. The EP was produced by the band and recorded and mixed by Mr. Jose “Torta†Portilla in Honky-Tonk studios, Mexico City. It was mastered by Zampol Productions, New York City, USA. The EP is expected to be released during the first trimester of 2008. 1st couple of gigs, and a list of names… The band played in various nightclubs, including Bulldog Café, Hard Rock Live, Cluv Lounge and Disco, and Vive Cuervo Salon. They have a reputation of giving strong, energetic performances. They played under various names, including: The Leftovers (a play on the fact that all members are “Leftovers†of different bands), Midland, Bahnhoff, and Red Means Go. The band finally settled with the name OnTV right before a radio broadcast because they had landed on a name that was easy to remember, and very frequently used. The idea came from a dialogue by Jason Alexander’s character George Costanza on the TV series Seinfeld.
