A little musical background. I started piano at the age of five and took lessons through my early 20s, studying classical repertoire. After graduating from college (University of Chicago/mathematics), I embarked on a completely unrelated career as a graphic designer for print publications. In the 90s, while working as an art director in Munich, I scored a friend's film. Soon after, I took Buddy Baker's film scoring workshop and participated in the New York University composers forum during the summer quarter. When I settled briefly in New York, there was some more work at NYU and night classes at Juilliard. In 2001 I relocated to Los Angeles and enrolled in UCLA's film scoring program, supplementing my work there with classes at Pasadena City College (clarinet, horn, conducting).
In 2005 I started actively looking for film projects, and scored several shorts, a feature, and a good deal of additional music for films. You'll find most of my filmography at the IMDB .
You'll find a selection of my work below, as well as at CD Baby , or in the music section of my website, pavkovic.com
