Let's see. Where do I start. I'm a Viet Nam vet and Vietnamese linguist. I speak read and write Vietnamese and have spent about a total of six years there. Two during the war and almost four in the early 90's investigating our soldiers MIA in Vietnam and for Caterpillar. Vietnam and it's people have and continue to be a major part of my life. I spent 3 1/2 years active duty in the Army and 11 years in the Reserves and Guard.
I am a retired Sergeant with a large Sheriff's Office and worked in Patrol, Traffic and Special Operations (Bomb Squad and SWAT). After retiring early to work in MIA investigations in Vietnam I spent almost the next ten years overseas in Vietnam, Bosnia, Thailand and TDY in several other countries.
I've been back in the Seattle area for the past five years and am working for a bail bond company both as a Bail Bond Agent and working Fugitive Recovery.
I'm 61 now but keep active and work had at keeping in good fighting shape. It's all part of being able to take care of myself and those I care about.
I'm moving on with a new phase in my life as a few of you know and others will learn. .. ..
