At the age of three, Cha'Rel Ji'Cole Wright developed the passion she later on persued as soon as she could. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Cha'Rel dreamed of becoming "The Singer" that she knew she could be. Winning numerous talent awards, singing at her local church and all school events imaginable, beginning at the age of 11, wasn't enough for this potential filled young girl. Looking forward to staying involved in her desired career, Cha'Rel joined a neo-soul gospel group at 17, titled "Devoted to Christ" (Tarell Martin) which enhanced her level both spiritually and vocally. She, now 20, is attending Colorado Christian University on a full-ride scholarship for 4 years due to her community involvement, ministry, and spirituallity. When asked "Cha'Rel, if you want to sing and KNOW this is what you're going do, why are you in school?" She answered, "I asked God the same question! He told me, 'I want to show My Children, YOU CAN GO TO SCHOOL FOR FREE, through ME.' That's why I'm in school.
