About Me

Non-ecclesiastical, but a momentary blur; splendid rumors in enchanted rooms, smoke-filled nights, heaven scented fragrances... the rest is filled with mystery. There is no raison d'etre without the dream. I believe in the existence of free will. I believe existence is free will. The universe is full of self-arranging, self-forming aspects, all of which could cease to exist at any given moment. You might say "we simply are", but you alone have chosen these three words. And now there is no turning back. The only thing left is to dream.

My Interests

Music, art, poetry, interesting films, automatic writing, collage, love, beauty (in its sometimes hidden forms), freedom, imagination, mystery, truth, the marvelous, synchronicities, those short moments of elation that could always be a little longer, a passing smile, a weak handshake, sleep, dreams, deja vu, warm faces, broken mirrors, getting lost in the library, spending more time outside, travelling in the countryside, small towns, the guadalupe river, exploring the hill country, reflection, relaxation, humor, laziness, being downright silly sometimes, butterflies in fields of yellow blue and orange, rain-showers wasting away the hours, smells that remind of a long forgotten youth, leaky faucets, good hand eye coordination, abandoned houses, long profile tangents, lying down staring at a blue sky crows pulling pearls from my ears.

I'd like to meet:

People into people and ideas more than scenes, fashion trends, and things. Unique Travelers. Tennis Players. Surrealists.

Music:

To mention a few: Mazzy Star, Richard Hawley, Jeff Buckley, Fiona Apple, PJ Harvey, The Warlocks, Neko Case, Shannon Wright, Grant Lee Phillips, Elliot Smith, 50's and 60's underground, old punk (reagan youth, AOD, misfits, etc), jazz, experimental music, and so forth and so forth.

Movies:

The Science of Sleep, Amelie, Girl on the Bridge, Uzumaki, the Barbarian Invasions, the Triplets of Belville, A Friend Like Harry, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Paint Job, The Dark Backwards, The Last Big Thing, Fallen Angels, Bunuel, Svankmajer, and more.

Television:

nothing but static

Books:

Surrealist writing, anarchist thought (a FAQ to dispel myths), lots of poetry, a sprinkle of Rimbaud, a dash of Lautreamont, generous portions of Breton.

Heroes:

Andre Breton, William Godwin
