Lost Realist [T]

Life is like a movie. You know that feeling, when your driving home and the music is playing so loud that it feels like your in a movie. You know what I'm talking about? When the ruggedly handsome male lead and his romantic interest are driving off into the night? And that, oh so perfect song by that trendy counter culture band starts to fade in. Those moments are immoralized by my voiceover. My thoughts rise over the music as I, the protagonist, revel in the completeness of my life. Or atleast thats the way it should be. I find that more and more often I am *expecting* good things to happen. I win the big race or competition or whatever. Simply because thats the way the story goes. Who wants to watch a movie where I lose!? Or where I *Dont* win the affection of the beautiful romantic interest ( Amanda) . As a result... I really dont have any fear of my life ending poorly. My life, my movie, is going to end, just the way it is supposed to. But... even if the movie, my movie, is going to end, ends perfectly, that doesnt mean its a good movie. Sure I can live happily ever after, But do I get two thumbs up? Was my life worth while? Maybe i'll be one of those saddly unrecognized, cult classic, independant films. But I guess as long as things work out, Im happy forever after...It really doesnt matter what other people think.
