About Me

I am a guitar player as well as Drums, Bass, and Ghetto Keyboards ( Meaning if you are in extreme need I can play a C chord or 96 tears.) Guitar is my primary instrument or weapon of choice. I formed a band called (The Crime) in 1980 a Memphis Power Pop band with my friend of 4 years Randy Moon, later adding drummer Lee Leonard recommended by one of my childhood friends Greg Morrow. Then adding a guy I found on a Strings and Things Bulletin Board Jeff Golightly who became and still is one of my closet friends. Numerous Changes were made during the Crime Days. There were actually 4 notable versions of The Crime. They are as follows: #1 Rick Camp, Randy Moon, Jeff Golightly and entering the picture Carlton Rash. #2 Rick Camp , Rick Nethery, Carlton Rash and Larry Wood. #3 Rick Camp, Rick Nethery, Larry Wood and Brady Spencer. #4 Rick Camp, Spot Allison, Mike Mason and Kurt Ruleman. Following this venture I joined a band formed by Rick Nethery (The Beat Generation)Rick Nethery,(Who was also a member of The Crime) Duane Cleveland, Richard Hage ,Joe Santucci and Freddie Kirksey. From there I moved on to form a country band with Eddie Smith, Jim Wilson, Chris Craig, Mike Mason and David Cochran(The Ricochet Round Up). I worked with these three bands from 1980 to 2000. From this point I worked as a side man with various acts around the southeastern region. As of 2001 I have been playing with Lance Strode, Rusty Stavely, Jay Sheffield Jr. Eric Eschbach and Robert Jordan (Lance Strode and The Cat House Ramblers),( Magic Bus) with Chris Gavin, Tony Maharrey and Mike McSorley, (The Corn Fed Mafia) with Duane Cleveland, Steve Ingle, Dave Smith, Billy Little, Andy Tate, Eric Westy and Neal Bowen. These are obviously rotating members or we command a large fee. We normally get $25.00 a man whether we deserve it or not.... My latest endeavor is a project of original material ( The Everyday Parade) with Jeff Golightly formally of The Crime, Leh Sammons,J.B. Horrell members of (The Noise Choir). My go out and play every song I've loved as a kid band is (Rick Camp & The Suburban Trunk Monkeys) with Danny Umfrees,Tom Wilson, Tony Maharrey, James Flynn, Steve Ingle, Freddie Kirksey, Steve Johnston, Mike Wade, Richard Hage,J.W Williams,Sammy Haynes and Jay Sheffield Jr.. If I forgotten anyone that is what Edits are for just let me know.
