I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am sensitive, sympathetic, and can be thoughtful with a vivid imagination and can readily sense atmospheres hence I write songs and poetry. I have a web site under www.anntuatha.co.uk and I am based in the beautiful County of Cornwall, UK. I am at present recording for the Marx Museum, London for their use "The International" and "Jarama Valley". I have just completed a CD tribute to Jack Jones the great Trade Unionist with his choice of songs which have featured in his life. "The Strawbs" allowed me to sample "Part of the Union" in this tribute. Thanks to them over in America. My other CD "Liquid Gold" is a mixture of old and new songs and some are unaccompanied. The CD "Ancient Gold" has Irish Tales told from the Gaelic and Irish songs. I am a member of Cornwall Songwriters. At present working on putting Ryans music,(see friends), to the poem, Mirroring. A book of industrial poetry is being put together based on industrial working life and some of these have had music put to them as well. The idea is to have a CD of the poems and songs with it and some have already been recorded. I am a widow and I fill my life with music, poetry and trade union work and I consider myself lucky to have many friends. I also love metal bands, especially Akercocke and their new CD Antichrist combining metal with acoustic. I also love the Breton musicians which are on my music myspace site under Anntuatha. Check them out.
