About Me

Ian Patrick is currently finishing his degree Columbia College Chicago. He is heavily indulged into jazz. Seeking a degree in Jazz Studies/ Composition and Arranging, Cler has been composing and arranging for several different local artists in Chicago as well as playing out. He has been influenced by artists, such as, Wes, Joe Henderson, Clifford Brown, George Benson, Pat Martino, Bobby Broom. He has studied/ studying under Kevin Turner, Shawn Purcell (U of I), and Peter Lerner. Cler grew up playing in church, which he found the love and inspiration that rhythm and notes can have. He continues to hone his gift.
