Native from Paris (France), Pierre André first encountered Film Music at age 8 and, since then, has shown tremendous passion for the medium. Later studying Jazz Composition & Piano at the American School of Music (Paris) before transferring to Berklee College of Music (Boston), Pierre André has graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor's Degree in Film Scoring and Sound Design. Skills demonstrated in his final project: a re-score of Ron Fricke's epic 70MM epic Baraka.
Among his most recent collaborations, Pierre André has worked with Composer John Ottman on X2: X-Men United and orchestrated a Concert Suite based on John's score for Incognito. In addition, Pierre has scored the Belgium short movies Verboden Te and Good Riddance and wrote additional music for the independent films 2 Birds With 1 Stallone (a/k/a Lou) and Gabriela (exclusive to the DVD Collector's Edition). On a television level, his most high profile assignment is the main title for the film music show Traxzone TV.
