Members of the National Black Writers and Artists Association (NBWAA) believe that enlightenment of the public is the forerunning cause of the organization and the underpinning of egalitarianism. Duties of the NBWAA are to further the advancement of black arts, and promote unity in the literary, theater, performing arts, musical, and visual arts world by building a network that will bridge the various gaps dividing our people. Professional integrity is the cornerstone of the NBWAA?s credibility, and is demonstrated by our members as they strive to diligently serve the public. Members of the NBWAA share a dedication to ethical behavior and adopt the following code in declaration of our Society's principles and standards of practice. http://WWW.SBWAA.ORG/
