About Me

A.D. does not fall into a genre, he is found in a rare emotional mindset, crossing several styles. A mix of prog house/ trance and tech sounds, A.D.'s mixing and production works are always a sonic treat taking the listener on a journey.A.D.'s story begins being surrounded in childhood with music, from the time he woke up till the time he was told to go to bed.Music from classical symphony, swing , jazz, R&b, pop, rock, metal you never knew what was going to be heard next directly influencing his production and dj stylings. Never Knowing what you are going to hear, what style, what genre, A.D.'s sets have always filled the floorWith his mentality that music is the gift to allow you to glimpse the mindset of the dj as he is mixing A.D. never fails to draw you into his world, taking you on a sonic journey with no end in sight. Never knowing what the next record holds in store, A.D. has the gift of being able to know just when to shift gears, speeding up, slowing down and slamming on the brakes just at the right moment to take you on a different path.Twilight (2002) A.D.'s first mix release gives you a brief image of this, as its slowly winds and builds finally leaving you wanting more.Thoughts of You (2004) A.D. dropping his hat into the production ring once again bringing with "Thoughts of You" a Prog house track deep and chugging, you can feel the various musical influences throughout, ranging from 70's style synth toms to the 808 claps and cowbells which send your head swirling, while the deep bass and haunting "thoughts of you" sample keeps you grounded and dancing.Desert- I See the Light (2005 A.D.s Illumination RMX) Playing the track no one expects is the norm for A.D. so when the chance to remix Desert's "I see the Light" came along he jumped on it. Taking the house style track and turning it into a dark brooding stomper. Breaking down into a Hardfloor-esque breakbeat before shifting gears and charging the dance floor once againMovements - A.D. takes a step into progressive breaks for the first time with this deep, ethereal track. From panning sweeps that seem to form out of the depths of the music itself, to melodic strings this song transfixes the listener taking them to a blissflul space.get your A.D. ringtones here:

Sounds Like: A.D. Has been described in many ways, his personal favourite is "Dungeon Funk" Dark yet funky to bring you back into the light. Take a bit of Dave Seaman, add some dark churning groove from Underworld and you have the begins of A.D. in both his dj sets and his productions you start of being drawn in nice and slow as the song/set builds. He drops in a subtle hook to keep you there, and readies you for take off.
