Welcome, I started this site on 8/21/07. I'll be updating everything as new songs are finished with photos, info, and music. Thanks for stopping by and stay in touch. Please read on for more information.
I'm a middle aged late baby boomer born in the early 60's. A family man who's children have grown enough that I now have more time for what made me happy so long ago. Happily married now for more than 21 years to a woman who has no equal, she's the inspiration for some of the original material, and someone who I could not live without. Yes, it is corny, but it is true. I've known her for almost 30 years now, and wouldn't trade a minute of it.
I've been interested in music for my entire life. I listen to and play most genres, and also write my own material. I started out at 8 years old with the drums, and picked up the guitar when I was 12 (my friend taught me the basics). Mostly self taught, I took lessons for a few years, but soon tired of them when I felt I wasn't moving fast enough for what I wanted to learn. Through high school and college I was in and out of several bands with friends and family, and even played out on my own in college for extra cash (aka drinking money).
After my youth, my devotion to music took a back seat to marriage, family, and business. I kept playing a little, mostly for my friends and family at parties and get togethers. My friends are like family as you can see from some of the pictures I have on the site. Some of the best times I've had have been with the "Gang", and I love them all. They all help me to keep from becoming "Charlie Brown".
Recently, an old friend contacted me out of the blue, and that contact has inspired me to take more time with my own music. My daughter did most of the work to put this site together. Then I dusted off the old material, and started putting down some tracks at home to get it out there. I'm hoping to start playing some small local places just to have some fun with it for now.
I still play hockey and volleyball, and I coach them as well. I'm very much involved in my children's activities, and therefore, I don't have the kind of time to donate to a full time music career. (As if that could happen) Mostly, I enjoy playing and want to have a place to share it with my friends and family.
