I would love to meet a girl (or guy) who is looking for a lifelong partner and who shares some of my key interests. Cosplaying together at anime conventions would be one of my (and hopefully "our") favorite pastimes, but this--like everything else--is not a must.
Being a fan of Japanese animation is not required (this has been tested), but it does help; otherwise, my abundance of anime merchandise may be overwhelming (this has also been tested).
There is no need to be a NASCAR fan as long as it is understood that I will spend several hours a week updating my fantasy league standings and may be fairly inaccessible during these times.
I am looking for a partner who is willing to rationally discuss any and all issues that may arise. Honesty is important, and if either of us is doing something that makes the other person feel uncomfortable then that "something" should be discussed. An ability to communicate openly is therefore essential; I often enjoy using email to discuss matters as it gives me time to prepare a thoughtful reply.
When it comes to physical appearance, I do have preferences, but personality can go a long way, so it is not worth mentioning my preferences. Thank you.

Doujinshi: fan-drawn comics that generally involve anime characters but which can also be based on videogames or popular films like Harry Potter or Pirates of the Caribbean. Although there are many regular doujinshi, they are most-known for the ones containing adult material.
  My all-time favorite pairings:
Ryouga x Ranma-chan (H)
m x Souma (Y)
Kogenta x Riku (Y)
Inuyasha x Kagome (H)
Renamon x Ruki (H)
Ash x Misty (H)
m x Merle (H)
Characters with animal qualities (Inuyasha, Kogenta, Merle, Cham-cham) are generally the best.
My favorite types of doujinshi are shota, followed by lolicon, etchi/hentai, and finally yaoi. Furry/Beast doujinshi are generally my favorite, but--as you might be able to tell from my favorite pairings--this is not always the case.
So, where can you get your hands on these types of doujinshi? Well, first you HAVE TO BE AT LEAST 18. After that, I recommend the following sites:
  www.ebay.com
www.plecomi.net [expensive but great selection; has only added new items once in 2006, though]
  www.mandarake.co.jp [generally cheap]
www.ultimateanimeshop.com [cheap as well as cheap S&H]
  www.tokyo-archive.com [expensive but great selection]
  www.animegiga.com
  www.jpqueen.com
