Jez Q

Jez Q is one half of the old jungle/punk outfit Section 47 (or Section 47b on this site!?!), the other half being Greg aka The Bud aka c**t. With the dissolution of Section 47, Jez continued to make beats and had several 12" out under the name Q and then Jez Q. Being dissatisfied with the D&B scene as a whole, he tried experimenting with different styles of music including garage/breakbeat and even teamed up with old 47 partner to produce shall we say 'experiMENTAL' tracks under the name Q and the Bud (on here somewhere!). Since his releases with Urban Takeover spin off labels Dramatix and Urban Shakedown, Jez has taken a back seat on the D&B front and is currently threatening to crank up his old studio and do some different shit influenced by the dirty south hip-hop scene in the US. Watch this space, he may even get round to it!
