I have been depicting the same subject matter, dead flower, since 2004, in various forms and materials. I coould keep my memory and inspired from it through painting dried flowers. The life of dried flower often seems to be ended. Flower is a symbol of beauty, and we appericate and admire. But people thinks that it is old, done for their duty and throw away when it is dehydrated. The most essential duties of flowers are how they touch somebody's heart or move their feelings.
I began to feel sorry for the obsession of beauty of youth or appearance because we are all in the process of physical dehydration also. But I can't let me be dehydrated in mind as loosing hope and apprecation on present time. With my works I make ressurrection to the dead flower, unless it loose its esstial role.In the serial works "Vein", I focuse on the function of it.
