Academic studies with Prof. Bruno Baldan, graduated with honours at the age of 20 at the Conservatory of Music “B. Marcello”, Venice.
Courses with M. Bourgue, H.J. Schellenberger, T. Indermuhle.
Activity
Just graduated, he has been introduced by “La Biennale” of Venice to perform the Marcello Concert in tournée in Croatia (Dubrovnik International Festival); then invited as 1st Oboe by the International Symphony Orchestra of Jeunesses Musicales for tournées in Italy (Rossini Opera Festival)
1st Oboe with several orchestras: Teatro dell’ Opera (Roma), Teatro Lirico (Cagliari), O.S. Siciliana (Palermo), O.S. “A. Toscanini” (Parma), O.S. “Haydn” (Bolzano), O.S.Naz. RAI (Torino), O. della Toscana (Firenze), O. Int. d’Italia; playing with them in radio-TV-CD recordings, tournées in Europe (with L. Nono: “Canto Sospeso”, Theatre Chatelet, Paris 1987, with L. Berio: “Voci”, Philarmonie am Gasteig, Munchen 1993)
Soloist in “Cadenzario” by S. Sciarrino – a première – in the 1991/92 season’s opening concert; same program at Trento, Bozen and Grosser Saal Mozarteum, Salzburg.

Mario Frezzato is interested in all the forms, genres and applications of music, beginning with sound and its report with human being (Nada Yoga with Vemu Mukunda), up to theatre (Augusto Boal), visual and performing arts: in this kind of mood he takes a degree in Music Therapy (Istituto Antoniano/ Bologna, 1996), conceives music project for schools, he takes a part in CD recordings by rock/alternative bands (Marmaja, Mariposa), and, joining the musicians Giovanni Chirichella and Enrico Gabrielli, in 1998 he founds SOTTOSUONO, a music project for art installations, still operative.
