I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm still twenty-something, still working my ass off and still relatively boring, honestly. I play more video games and watch more grown men fight professionally than could possibly be considered healthy, do the same thing in my spare time as I do in the office (which would be a combination of writing, designing and HTML / CFM / CSS) and honestly love my life just as it is. If you need to know more, that's why drqshadow.com is here.

Incidentally, here's what I'm listening to on my machine at work right now! Isn't that interesting?

My Interests

Music, HTML, Design, ColdFusion, CSS, Video Games, DVDs, Post-Punk, Comic Books, David Bowie, Robert Smith (in the '80s), Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Alphonse Mucha, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Yoshitaka Amano, Alfred Hitchcock, David Lynch, Quentin Tarantino, Orson Welles, Mark Millar, Grant Morrison, Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, Michel Gondry

Undersea Meditation and Me

One of my favorite recent activities has been firing up the Volcano, then heading down to the swimming pool to enjoy the late summer evenings with Autumn. In my inebriation, I've stumbled upon a stran...

Quick and Dirty Spider-Man 3 Impressions

My opinion is that I really hope they don't make another. The first two were so good that it was hard to go into this one without some weighty expectations, and it didn't even come close to reaching t...

Dream Logic

I had a dream last night that everyone in Southwest Florida had their own locker for storage of personal items. These weren't big lockers, probably about the same size as the one you had in middle sch...

Aaand... we're clear

I made it. Day ten was yesterday, and I was so excited about downing my last gulp of lemonade that I'd polished it off by 3PM. This morning, I began the process of weaning myself back to a regular die...

And on the Sixth Day...

It's day six, and my willpower has been tested. I've had every excuse to throw good reason to the wayside and leave the diet in the past, but have stayed the course. When I left for work this morning,...
