I've got to limit hip-hop to good hip-hop, female singers with soul (alicia keys, india arie, etc.), pissed-off female singers (joan jett, peaches, pat benetar, the avengers, blondie, etc.), all sorts of classic rock (led zep, rolling stones, jimi hendrix, etc.) and way too many more to list.
green street hooligans, pulp fiction, pool hall junkies, scarface, casino, the breakfast club, goodfellas, carlito's way, this girls life, he got game, the karate kid, grifters, beat street, romancing the stone, love and a 45, breaking away, the tape, 8mm, sin city... I watch a lot of flicks so this list could be endless...
