Parmi eux, le groupe KuBB connu en Angleterre d'où ils viennent et commence à être de plus en plus sur les radios ici en Suisse. Quand j'ai entendu qu'ils venaient jouer au festival "Rock aux Arènes", j'étais complètement excitée. Harry Collier, leader du groupe a une réelle personnalité et originalité. Pour l’anecdote, Harry Collier, s’est fait repérer par Rollo, le frère de la chanteuse Dido, alors qu’il était serveur dans un bar. Rollo a été conquis par la voix du jeune homme quand il s’est mis à chanter Happy Birthday à l’un des clients. La suite, on la connaît : l’anglais s’entoure de musiciens et fonde la formation Kubb. Among them the band KuBB is well-know in UK where they are coming from and beguin to be more and more on the radio here in Switzerland. When I heard that they were coming to play in the gig "Rock aux Arènes" in Avenches I was completely excited. That man has a real personnality and originality. Many things have gone into making Harry Collier the singer and songwriter he is today. Some have been good, some bad, some weird. Things like...the Church... the Caribbean... Ephedrine... Dido's brother... 'Happy Birthday'... But with a life as lived-in as Harry's, all have been, in some way, Things To Learn From. Perhaps that's why the first album from his band Kubb is so stirring.
