After starting successful solo careers, Josh Damigo and Rob Deez realized something was missing in their lives. As the last minute opening act for local Punk/Roots/Country sensation, "Cotton Fever", Josh and Rob realized that something bigger then themselves was starting to brew in Lestat's Coffee Shop.
"He completes me..." Says Damigo (Mega), "...there's just no other way to say it." Mega says that he thinks his counterpart "Big-time" is one of the most talented musicians in San Diego, and looks forward to the music they are about to make.
Mega has opened for Joss Stone, The Format, and Ernie Halter. Along with winning 4 San Diego HAT Awards in 2006, he has gained national recognition from his song "Fall Asleep" which was recorded by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus' original guitar player Thomas Amason.
Big-Time's accomplishments includes playing the Viper Room in L.A., being featured in the Citybeat and Union Tribune, and opening for bands like Reeve Oliver, Bad Credit, and Richie Blue and the Boogiemen.
"We'za gonna be famous." says Big-Time.
Their goals include recording a wicked hot demo, taking the music industry by force if necessary, flirting with every hot chick, and possibly dropping a couple sick lyrics along the way.
Look for The Big-Time Mega Show EVERY FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH, EXCLUSIVELY AT VINBLADH'S IN SAN DIEGO!
