Sounds Like: ...many different things, at times in an easily discerned and sequential format, others in a discontinuous, faceted plane of subtly shifting content and timbres. 99% instrumental. Always elements of indeterminacy/improvisation (choose your term), players given space to exert their will on the music within various contexts. Lots of brassed out bliss, especially multiple trombones. Site specificity can be important, as a literal influence on content, a subtextual guide; using electronic soundtracks and live laptopistry to create a sonic space within the physical space, often locating the sounds with boomboxes and/or discreet multichannel output systems.
