About Me

Hello, names jesse Curtis and this is my project The Dear JOhn Letters. Music has played an important role in my life and i am hoping that it will continue to play an importante role. This is my first solo project that i have ever partaken in. I have been in many bands, Jadius(Grunge), the windriders(surf-pyschedelic),Mulengro(Punk-hardcore),the buzz(Pyschedelic), the signs(garage-pop),dampeneded confessions(pop rock), Arm the Children(blues-classic rock), is this it!(pop rock), with alldue respect(pop rock), and finally the dear john letters(ne thing). So as you can see i have been in many bands my experience in music is quite vast for my age. I have made alot of friends through music i've also lost alot of friends through music . Through the years music has transformed my life, now i want to take what music has done for me and give it to the world. That is exactly what i entend to do with this project. I hope that you enjoy the music, just let your hair down close your eyes and let the music move you. Do like i wish everyone would do with peace and just give my music a chance. Influences: musical influences- the beatles, the stones, hendrix, dylan, the doors, the beach boys, donovan,dave matthews, jack johnson, iron and wine, buffalo springfield, crosby stills and nash, the white stripes, nirvana,etc.politics life the higher being knowledge outdoors the stars outerspace the 1960's love war rebirth
Sounds Like: it is quite difficult to categorize this project, this project is more then music to me it is a way of life. Just let me say that this project is very diverse. In most instances the music does not sound like the music of this day and age. the music has a vintage flare at times it embodies folk,blues, pop, rock,surf, pyschedelic, garage. so i guess all i can say is that the music is very diverse.
