I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

My name is Mark Sebring. I am a 51 year old mainframe systems programmer from Omaha, Nebraska. I am married with children and grandchildren. My interests include music, classic films, literature, poetry, and philosophy.
I am an amateur poet and lyricist. Some of my songs and poems are posted in my blog. I am also a drummer and a pianist. (I started playing again last year after many years of not playing.) I'm currently in a part-time project with some old friends ( Danny and The Red Ball Jets ) but I'd like to find some creative local people to work with on a regular basis.
I am an enthusiastic supporter of local music.
Here are some great Omaha music web sites:
Barley Street Tavern
Blues Society of Omaha
Homer's Music
Lazy-I
Omaha Entertainment Awards
Omaha Live & Outloud
Omaha Nightlife
1% Productions
